Strong supply chains start in the field. By working directly with growers, Farmers Fresh gains clearer visibility into harvest conditions, product availability and packing needs, supporting better planning, coordination and confident communication from source.
Fresh greenhouse tomatoes begin with careful work in the field and close attention throughout the harvest.
Direct relationships create a stronger flow of information. Rather than receiving updates only after the product has moved through the supply chain, we can stay connected to growers and better understand changes as they happen.
This visibility supports planning around volumes, harvest windows, product conditions and logistics. It also helps us identify adjustments early and coordinate the next steps with customers and distribution partners.
Product selection helps ensure that each shipment meets the quality and presentation required by the market.
Open communication is essential when working with fresh produce. Weather, seasonality, field conditions and market demand can all affect availability.
By maintaining direct contact with growers, our team can share information faster, align expectations and respond more efficiently. That coordination helps reduce uncertainty and creates a more reliable process from harvest to delivery.
Each greenhouse tomato is reviewed and selected before moving to the next stage of the supply chain.
Working directly with growers is not only about purchasing product. It is about building relationships based on trust, transparency and shared goals.
These partnerships help Farmers Fresh support consistent supply programs while giving growers a clearer understanding of customer needs and market opportunities.
